CLI Verify Australia is a concept created by SpoofControl.com.

It provides this website to its clients that requires Spoof Control on their VoIP Termination for Call Center Traffic where there switch/network does not have the technical ability. This system is not owned by a specific carrier and this website can and will be used with many different carriers around the world.

The Call center industry has been declining in the last few years due to so much fraud because its so easy for the illegal call centers to Spoof their ANI so they can't be found.

There are many government departments around the Globe and especially in USA & Australia spending (wasting) millions of dollars to trying to find a way to combat these issues. The issue is the Tier 1 providers around the globe either don't accept call center traffic (which means people have to get around it another way) or if they do (which is very rare) they have no policies.

What really needs to happen in this industry is, the Tier 1 Carriers should not be allowed to make it so hard to send call center traffic on their networks; they should all have a call center / bulk traffic wholesale termination but with rules such as spoofing control. This would mean that illegal calls would soon be nonexistent. You have to remember: call centers are not illegal in most countries and they should not be discriminated against.

Our goal is to work with more carriers around the globe and offer our strict call center policies so we can send call center termination on their network while all laws are being governed & monitored. This will slowly weed out the illegal call center traffic.

We are only a very small piece of the puzzle in this issue but we hope to make a huge impact in the world one phone call at a time.

Your CLI Must be a real number that can be answered by our automatic system.If your CLI is attached to an IVR or something similar and you can't verify the number by our automatic system, you don't need to worry. We can manually verify your number, just click on Manually Verify. We have staff monitoring this system 24/7, and we should have your number verified within 10 minutes. Please note: The number must be a valid/live number that our Verification team can call and verify the number.

  • 1 A valid Australian CLI must be used. CLI Must be owned legally by the end-user that is making the call(s). No international / Non-Compliant CLI's will be accepted.
  • 2 No illegal calls such as tax & car accidents scams. If you are not selling a legitimate product or service you are not to use our Australian Termination.
  • 3 If you are found to use our service for illegal calls your account will be terminated without notice. Please screen your clients carefully before allowing them to dial on your network.
  • 4 Every single CLI must be verified by australia.cliverify.com before you or your end-user will be allowed to terminate on our Australian network.
  • How long does the CLI stay in the database?

    CLI will be deleted from the database after 6 months. You can then add it again if you wish

  • Do I have to verify my CLI even though my company is legitimate?

    Yes

  • What is the SIP code if the CLI has not been verified and I make a call?

    It depends on your carrier's network but it should be SIP 488
